The soldiers are conducting a number of exercises including, “helicopter landing, running obstacle courses, making arrests, and rescuing hostages”.
A comprehensive anti-terror combat drill is the highlight of the joint drills.
China and India each sent a group of 150 personnel to participate in the drill.
It is the third round of joint drills to be held between the two nations since 2007.

China, alongwith Russia and India, in New Delhi on Sunday pledged to “jointly crack down” on the terror threat facing the region.
The joint communiqué issued after the RIC Foreign Ministers Summit, “underlined the need to bring to justice perpetrators, organisers, financiers and sponsors of terrorist acts”.
The communiqué also “condemned in the strongest terms” the October 28 attack in Tiananmen Square, adding that “there cannot be ideological, religious, political, racial, ethnic, or any other justification for acts of terrorism”.
